The Executive Secretary is the Chief Executive and Accounting Officer of the Board. He is the head of the technical team and his overall duty is monitoring the day to day operations of the Board. The functions include the following:
Be the secretary to the Board, responsible for recording all proceedings of the meetings of the Board and its committees and shall keep custody of all records and documents of the Board;
Be Head of the Secretariat, responsible for the management of funds, property and overall administration and organization of its business;
- Develop and recommend the rules and regulations on the conduct of examinations;
- Prepare and ensure smooth conduct of the allied health national examinations;
- Prepare the examination results in a timely manner and present the results to the Board;
- Keep sequential record of examinations and results;
- Prepare timely feedback on examinations to schools;
- Prepare for the Board members local and international meetings;
- Ensure that local and international research is carried out;
- Keep the sealed certificates, diplomas and pass slips in safe custody.
